Livin' in my pride ...

I looked for people today who fit the words and the beat of this music ... I found them.

Women In Black

Women In Black New York stand in silent vigil to protest war, rape as a tool of war, ethnic cleansing and human rights abuses all over the world. They are silent because mere words cannot express the tragedy that wars and hatred bring. Their silence is visible. They wear black as a symbol of sorrow for all the victims of war, for the destruction of people, nature and the fabric of life.
They stand in silent vigil in front of the New York Public Library at Fifth Avenue and 41st every Wednesday, 5:30-6:30p.m.

I always had pleasure in my life ...

As you know, dear followers, I usually like to let my photos speak for themselves...sometimes with a bit of music added, like an accessory, to an outfit. Today is an exception. To my right is Evelyn, who at 86 years old, proudly tells me "I always had pleasure in my life." Obviously, Evelyn...obviously. And to my left is Elena, who slipped off her heels and threw on her Hogans to walk over to Central Park to enjoy a few minutes of pleasure. Across the generations, both of them looking chic and comfortable, these two get it. And it shows. They are the epitome of real, sexy, and human.
